I was referred to Dr Pitcher after suffering with gastrointestinal issues for close to 6 months. He quickly put my mind at rest and ran a thorough set of examinations to rule out the more serious conditions. Fortunately these all came back negative and he prescribed medication that has been working wonders. I can't recommend highly enough.

Having been successfully treated by Dr Pitcher some years ago for a gastroenterological condition I asked to be referred to him again when I was feeling very poorly just before Christmas. I had seen several other consultants and was receiving treatment for various conditions from them but I was not feeling any better. Dr Pitcher examined me on my first visit to him and diagnosed a fairly rare condition which was not gastroenterological. He prescribed an immediate course of medication and within 48 hours I could not believe how much better I was feeling. He kept in touch with me by email over Christmas to ensure I was feeling OK, which I certainly was, and a couple of days after Christmas a biopsy confirmed his diagnosis. My treatment is continuing and I am feeling so much better. I am very grateful to Dr Pitcher for the care and attention he has shown to me and of course for his prompt and correct diagnosis. He is a very nice man who communicates well and clearly explains everything. He always gave me the impression that he had time for me and never seemed to rush things. He went out of his way to ensure all was well e.g. the Christmas emails. Although I was never in bed when I saw him I can imagine that he has a charming "bedside manner"! I am so pleased to have been treated twice now by Dr Pitcher and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr Pitcher combines excellent diagnostic skills with great care for the patient and strongly empathises with the patients condition. I was able to fully understand my likely prognosis and, because of the way in which it was explained ,well prepared to handle the consequences. Referrals were prompt, courteously handled, and well organised.

Dr Pitcher is very attentive as I explained my medical condition. He was prompt to arrange appointments and test, which NHS took weeks to do so. I had backpain and bloated stomach for weeks. After my CT scan, result shows there were lesions in my liver, gall bladder and muscle. He referred me to his colleague for a biopsy on the lump on my neck days later, and to see an oncologist when the result showed abnormal tissue. I am so fortunate to have him, understanding my condition and I felt well taken care off. The process was considered very quick. He is very open to questions, and tried his best to guide me throughout the process. Thank you so much, Dr pitcher. You gave us hope and peace of mind with your kind approach. Shwumey and Steven
